Location was perfect. Great beach access. Cute, not modern. Had everything we needed. Friendly vibe.

Perfect oceanfront location! You can see the waves breaking from the living and dinning room. The sunroom is so nice to sit in and relax and hear the ocean. The home is well stocked with all essentials and the staff at Highway 1 were very friendly and accommodating. The furniture is somewhat dated and the whole house could use a deep clean but that did not take away from us enjoying our stay. The home was spacious and a great place to spend a week at Stinson!

We enjoyed every second of our vacation at this rental. It was right on the beach and had such beautiful views. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We have been to Stinson several times and this was our favorite place to stay.
The only issue we had was the signage to where we had to park was small so it took a minute to find the gate.

Excellent loved the house

We've stayed at a LOT of Stinson homes, and this one easily made the list of favorites! Very comfortable, well-equipped, spacious home with unparalleled access to what we consider to be the best part of Stinson beach. Easy walk to town on the beach. Two things to note: 1. If you're there in winter, know that the heating all comes from the gas fireplace which works great in the common areas and not at all in the bedrooms, so make sure the property manager provides sufficient space heaters. 2. Nearly impossible to find at night, because the driveway gate is not marked as #9 and the gate to the house is not properly lit... do yourself a favor and arrive during daylight hours. Once you're there... you're in heaven, and I envy you!

Love Parkside restaurant and for gifts, take-out! Many terrific West Marin restaurants and jaunts. Highway One was wonderful to work with!

We got lucky with the weather. Sunny & warm all week. The beach is right out the back door. We didn’t wear shoes all week! The house was well stocked and super comfortable. We got a last-minute cancellation booking, so didn’t compare it to any others, but it was perfect!
The only negative is that the house is hard to find, especially at night. The entrance gate is not marked with the property address and outdoor lighting could be improved. On the plus side, very secluded, hidden, and safe from the main road.

My husband and I spent a month at this beach house and highly recommend it. It is a combination of luxury linens mixed with a loved, comfortable and perfectly stocked home. It's literally steps to the beach and the private overlook makes sunset watching a must. The location is north of the busy public beach and very quiet, even on weekends. Some of the best hiking on Tam are walking distance from the house. We've spent a lot of time at Stinson, but this one's the best we've experienced.

Spent a wonderful month here during the worst of 2020. The house is warm and unpretentious with a great spirit. It really grew on us and we hated to leave. Set privately in the dunes you can hear the ocean and it’s just steps to the beach. A perfect place to read, write, be together and work remotely. We’ll be back.
