The thing I loved the most was the energy the house held. It's pictures online only gave a hint. The house was was clean but the foyer was not and the gardner never came back to finish the yard cleaning after the rainfall. The back yard gardens were still beautiful and the ocean view as well. My pup Skylar loved the maze. He had a great time. And the management team were wonderful. Yes indeed I would stay there again. Stinson Beach has always been one of favorite places.

The house has a lovely outdoor garden with a very spacious deck. The kitchen had everything we needed for a week stay in Stinson. There is a working fireplace for the foggy nights and the beds were comfortable. The place was clean and we were quite happy. We have rented many times through Highway One Properties, and everything ran smoothly. The furnace died, but they provided space heaters. Our one complaint is that they forgot to give us a loaf of Parkside Levain, and we always look forward to that little perk.

We had a terrific stay at this lovely place. Gorgeous outdoor space with view of the ocean. Would recommend! A few updates needed, but nothing significant enough to impact experience much.

We spent the week in a lovely home with a great location, walkable to all that Stinson Beach has to offer. The garden and deck were lovely, complemented by beautiful weather. the home is well-maintained, and very private given the density of the neighborhood.

240 is a very unique place. Lots of privacy. Reasonable kitchen setup. The grounds are fantastic. Great spots to stretch out in the sun and enjoy Stinson Beach. We plan on returning for sure!

The property management team is unsurpassable. Anything we needed or questions we had they were immediately on the situation, thorough, and extremely helpful.

We absolutely loved this house and property- the elegant 40's architecture and boxwooded garden with sculptures- a very old world charm. the expansive deck was another great feature, with views of the ocean and hills.This was a refreshing change from the overly RH'ed dwellings sometime rented on sea drift-with the added safety of being uphill from the tsunami zone.

Property it's cozy with all the amenities you'll need for your stay. Close to the beach and to the shops. Definitely we'll keep in mind when we'll come next !

We had a great stay at Stinson. This house is in a great location (minutes from the beach), is nicely laid out, has a great private deck for sunbathing and a lovely view of the ocean. We had everything we needed. I highly recommend this house!

Our family stayed for a week in November The house is a beautiful older Stinson beach house, well appointed and cared for, the kitchen well stocked, the outdoor space huge and beautifully designed.

We spent nearly 3 weeks here and had a lovely time. We were so grateful to find a two bedroom place for us and our dogs. The well equipped kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and we especially enjoyed the gas barbecue. The short walk to the beach, bakery and coffee made mornings a delight. The HWy One staff helped us with two challenges and we are very grateful. We will rent with them, again.

Check in process was helpful but it went downhill from there. Home had worms on the kitchen floor, ants inside the spice cupboard and a strange smell throughout. Living room furniture was uncomfortable and there were over 50 mosquitos in both our bedrooms. Best part of the property was the dinning room with far off ocean view (what you see on cover photos) and large outdoor deck. The deck itself was spacious but both umbrellas had thick moss growing on them and there were cobwebs all over the shirt bushes in the stone yard. Privacy was excellent with tall bushes and trees surrounding deck to allow for a peaceful outdoor experience. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms ok. The galley kitchen was old but they did a decent job fixing it up. The place could use a more inviting living room set up and more floor rugs. Side yard area has an front door with broken brick pathway and overgrown bushes—pretty run down and slightly spooky. Bug screens had holes and other windows had no screens at all. Highway One Properties was unprofessional as far as response timing, defensiveness from management/owner about our challenges and lack of kindness. No monetary refund was given for complaints and they were defended point by point. We are very experienced travelers and this was one of the more disappointing stay experiences in four decades of traveling for the money paid. We have stayed in two other properties at Stinson beach through travel apps that were far better. We would not recommend this rental home or rental management company.

Loved this house. First time not staying on the beach. Hillside was great. Easy walk to Parkside and beach and exploring the walking paths in the hills. Sweet house !

This house was beautifully furnished and well supplied with a fantastic kitchen. The view is gorgeous, and the yard could not be prettier.

We were able to get pretty comfortable in this home during our stay. Beds were comfortable, scenery was very nice, kitchen was well stocked with different types of supplies. We cooked almost of all of our meals and had pretty much everything we needed. The dining room was perfect with all the windows and sunshine, a perfect place to break bread. Great decks with beautiful scenery outside. It was everything we thought it would be.

This is a lovely home, and well situated. Light and airy, even on foggy days. The decks and outside areas are terrific.

This is a lovely home, clearly owned by an architect. The pictures don't do it justice. It has mid-century modern furniture and is well maintained. It's more of a winter house than a summer house in that it is on the hillside, has a fireplace, and does not have a hot tub or outdoor shower for rinsing off from the beach. This home has far less of a mold issue than some of the Stinson houses I've stayed in. I wish Stinson home owners would understand that houses at the beach need aggressive mold prevention and remediation work done annually.

My only complaint was that there were a lot of mosquitos and I wished I had reached out to the property managers sooner to let them know of this issue. We loved the home--beautiful layout, natural light, original art, spectacular deck with great furniture, garden, easy access to the beach. Thoughtfully supplied with great cookware, aesthetic dishes and glasses, luxury towels. While the sofa, the only
real seating in the living room, looks cool, it is very uncomfortable and the house would benefit from a living room furniture upgrade.

We had a great time at 240 Calle del Mar. The location is excellent - a short walk up the hill from the village and beach, and set into the hillside with great views of the ocean and mountains. The house is really nicely designed and furnished. Expanded layout makes it feel more spacious than square footage. Fixtures, appliances, furniture, etc are all pretty high end for a rental. Back deck and yard are awesome with tons of space and outdoor furniture. Perfect spot to hideaway from reality for a bit.
