Such a lovely home. Super clean, warm and comfortable. The kitchen and house is well supplied, comfortable beds, nice bedding and linens, and a view of the ocean with lot of trees around and super quiet.Couldn't ask for more!

This happy little cottage is so close to the beach that the sound of the ocean soothes guests to sleep. We loved its proximity to the beach, Parkside restaurant, and the Stinson Market around the corner.

The only minus is lack of investment in the basics, toaster, teapot, blender/cuisinart. What is there is worn out. The towels are thin.

It's a great getaway for a couple, young family, or good friends. (The bathroom sink is in the open hall.)

Highway One is responsive and kind as always.

We really enjoyed our stay at 151 Buena Vista Ave. I was in town to run the Miwok 100k, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the race started literally down the street from the house. So location is an A+. The house was clean, nicely decorated and generally well stocked. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we come back.

Inside was clean and photos are accurate. Outside deck and patios are not maintained, nor is the yard which was overgrown to the degree that it was inaccessible. The grill and beer table are in poor condition and garden off the deck is not maintained. Outdoor bean bag chairs were dirty and unusable. There was no charcoal present for the grill or usable wood and kindling for the wood stove (as is pictured). Overhead light bulbs were missing in the kitchen, so there’s inadequate light for cooking in the evening. Kitchen utensils are in poor condition. There was no pepper or oil present, nor a baking sheet. Lights in the bathroom and sink are just bare bulbs, and not very pleasant. Bathroom is dated, but jetted tub was a nice surprise. Pink mildew along the bottom of the shower curtain. As others have noted, towels are well used, and freezer was almost unusable as it needs to be defrosted. All of the above could be easily addressed to improve the quality of the property and a visitor’s stay, otherwise, I would not stay again. Location is good, near grocery, short walk to beach and the Parkside (highly recommended).

We enjoyed a beautiful weekend in Stinson and hiking Mt. Tam. Location was great. Home was clean. Beds are comfortable.
We read the reviews and brought our own extra towels. A new timer on the outdoor lights would be helpful for guests who arrive after dark.

Cozy retreat that feels a bit like being in a treehouse, in a good way. Town and the beach are a few minutes’ walk away.

Beautiful home, easy to access all Stinson has to offer. It was so easy to get to the beach, restaurants, and shops on foot. Great for kids. Loved hearing the ocean with the doors open from the house.

The house was super clean, well equipped, convenient to town and had beautiful views.

Four of us stayed in this unique open but cozy cottage. Well stocked kitchen, nice bathroom, and very comfortable beds and bedding. Lovely view out the back of the trees and through the trees the ocean. Thank you for providing a peaceful abode to stay for the weekend!

The property and stay was great. The property manager was very accommodating for our late (after midnight) arrival. Communication was great. We loved our stay.

This house has everything you would need for a beach getaway... games for kids and adults, beautifully stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds and elegant interior. The deck was lovely and butterflies were visible from dawn to dusk. The beanbag chairs on the deck were the perfect place to rest after a long day of play on Mt. Tam. Thank you!

Many times we've rented in Stinson and Bolinas over the last 10 years. Usually through VRBO. We know enough about the area to limit our search to a small subset of nice properties and this property delivered and was very nice.

We loved our stay in this beautifully remodeled Stinson Cottage. The decor is contemporary and spare and yet it is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect- quiet and peaceful yet an easy walk to stores/ restaurants and beach
