So comfortable and well equipped. Great linens. Went for a well deserved quite getaway after a tough time last year. The greenery one the property was spectacular, the entry garden was “English” like. Very welcoming as were the hosts. Loved it!!

We can’t wait to come back! Everything was as described, and went beyond our expectations!

Overall we loved staying here. The cottage is wonderful and the garden that surrounds it is magical.Mike and Steve were excellent hosts and very helpful. Very close to the beach so you go to sleep with the sounds of the waves. My only suggestion would be to sharpen the knives and provide a nonstick cookie sheet for roasting veggies, etc in the oven. Would highly recommend staying here and we plan to come back.

We stayed at this delightful cottage for one week and wished we could have stayed longer. It was perfect in every regard.

The cottage is steps away from the beach and yet private and quiet, both day and night. It is set within a most enchanting garden, which is lovingly designed and cared for by the delightful property owners, Michael and Steven. The inside of the cottage is cozy, comfortable, and well-appointed in every regard.

We wouldn't change a thing about this special retreat and hope to stay there again some day.

I loved the way we were just steps off the beach where I could take long morning walks in the sand before the beach filled up. Back at the cottage, we were away from the crowds in a beautiful private space, surrounded by an amazing garden. A short walk to town to get a bottle of wine or pick up an order from Parkside Cafe. This was just what we wanted, and I already made a return booking.

Stinson Beach is a lovely small unspoiled community with a friendly community feel. This rental was just what we were looking for: a quiet spot close to the beach. Gorgeous gardens in the enclosed courtyard. Simple but comfortably serviceable unit with everything you need in bedroom bath and kitchen for a relaxing beach stay. I would stay here again.

Also, the landlords were so sweet and helpful and easeful to communicate with. Appreciated the ways they were relational Vs transactional, and Highway 1 staff was so wonderful to coordinate with - overall both the landlords and highway 1 made our stay easeful and lovely. That made a huge difference.

A few extra touches - we need scent free laundered sheets and they made sure to do that, a space heater for winter cold (just one heated up the entire place). The bed was super comfort. Great shower. Steps away from beach. Overall wonderful, amazing place. highly recc the place and also working with Highway 1.

For those who like to cook - lots of pans options, but bring your own Tupperware- at time we went there wasn't much storage containers for left
overs - but we usually bring or own so we're fine but fyi for cooks :)

Our week at 15 Calle del Onda was wonderful. Incomparable garden and hot tub. Extraordinary artwork (esp. the magnificent large painting by Bien) and fountain. Great location for the beach and shops. Lots of informative literature. Michael was the most gracious host ever. All amenities were excellent, and we esp. appreciated the beach chairs/umbrella and the well-protected parking spot for our rented convertible.

No stick fry pans badly scratched and need replacing. Toaster took forever to toast. Hair dryer broken.

Great setting in an amazing garden!

We had never been to Marin County and were looking for an experience that was special and unique. We were NOT disappointed! Our first contact, of course, was with folks from the management company and the entry was flawless. Directions were clear and access was straightforward even given the fact that we were late arriving. The lockbox was simple to work with and we were delighted by the welcome surprise of a beautiful loaf of locally baked bread! The property itself was outstanding! The lush landscaping, the homey decor, the well appointed kitchen and the pre-warmed suite were so comforting after a long day on the road and the slightly alarming drive on Highway 1 in the pitch dark. Our hosts were so charming and gracious and they clearly take great joy in providing a hospitality experience to bring folks back. When we saw the property in broad daylight, we were flabbergasted! The lush garden, the sweet fountain, the welcoming deck and gloriously decadent hot tub - wow, what a magnificent spot to return to after a day out enjoying the charms of the region. We quite wallowed in the pleasure of being lulled to sleep by the sound of surf - no such luck in the land-locked prairie where we live! We really were sad to depart. Checkout was simple, the staff were helpful and attentive and we really can highly recommend the entire experience. Highway One Properties, along with owners Michael and Steve, truly knocked this out of the park!

In town for a mid October wedding. Spent two nights at this conveniently located and well appointed beach studio. Only steps from the beach and just a short 2-3 minute walk into the heart of this quiet town. Great weekend!

I loved my Labor Day Weekend stay at this adorable little cottage. Owners live in house on the property and are lovely. Space is wonderful & location is PERFECT. I would def' stay again!

Very relaxing

Wonderful and delightful little get away. Michael introduced us to our new place and extended two beyond belief gardens for us to enjoy. The ocean and beach were just a short walk away and you could hear the ocean at night. Town and good eating places were a short walk away. We parked the car when we arrived and did not use it again till we left. Relaxing, ocean, good food and lush gardens make for a great combo.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The rental has all that you need and is very clean and comfortable. It is a very short walk to the beautiful beach and also very close to town where you can find good food and drinks. The property itself was gorgeous and the hot tub was a major bonus. We would absolutely stay here again.

Convenient location, very clean, perfect for two people

The property was accurately described and very, very well maintained. The owners were terrific. They provided enough help and information while still allowing enough privacy. The garden was delightful and the location was convenient to walk to town and the beach. I will recommend this property to family and will stay again. We enjoyed the Parkside Cafe for every meal, but also grilled our dinner at home, too, a couple times. I enjoyed playing the piano in the evenings and writing at the desk. The hot tub was clean and relaxing after a day of activities, but also great while having morning coffee at the beginning of the day, too. Thank you.

Mike and Steven were gracious hosts; the cottage was wonderful....everything was close to the venue.

The cottage was exactly as described - you walk into the property and are surrounded by a beautiful garden. The cottage is a good sized studio with full kitchen and great hot tub. Michael was so friendly and kind! You are literally 100 feet from the beach which is the best part. You can easily walk to downtown Stinson stores and shops + have the sand just steps away (on the dog-friendly side of the beach). You also have your own parking spot which is super nice + separate entrance from the main house. We'll definitely be back again sometime soon!

My wife and I spent three nights here, and loved it. The place was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. Beautiful garden setting, with hot tub (which I like), and a zillion plants (which my wife likes). 2nd house from the beach - easy walk. They even had chairs on the beach we could use. The owners, Michael & Steven, were there when we were, and couldn't have been nicer. I would look forward to going back. Great value!

Perfect for a couple trying to get away for the weekend. Convenient location, small but well appointed, friendly owners & absolutely no complaints!

This studio's entry patio is a lush garden planted by the owner. The inside is very comfortable, with down pillows and comforter, a nice kitchen and wireless connection. A half block walk down a sandy lane to the beach, three blocks along the beach or Hwy 1 to town. The only drqwback is the close proximity to either neighbor... voices can be heard if they are outside and you are inside with the windows open... but they are nice folks, and we had a few fun, informative chats.
